Tatanga Energy is currently developing 3 solar power projects and 1 wind project, of which the most advanced is the Sable Solar project located near Sable Chemical Industries Limited’s facility at Sherwood, Kwekwe. The project comprises a grid-connected 50 MW Solar PV plant, which will sell electricity to the Zimbabwe Electricity Transmission and Distribution Company (ZETDC). It is part of a planned 400 MW solar park, which Tatanga Energy and its partners intend to develop within the same location. Further information regarding the projects can be found below.
