The Northern Power Project is an early stage 30MW project jointly being developed with AMDG Energy, with potential to scale up to 170MW. The project is being developed in Kitwe, Zambia’s Copperbelt Province. The project site lies in a high energy demand mining region. The plant will improve Zambia’s electricity supply and, critically, lay the foundation for the further development of the 170MW expansion plant in the same area. Pre-feasibility studies have commenced and land rights for the project have been secured.
